Saturday, June 15: A Day Packed with Fun
Seaside Vendors Market (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Kick off your weekend with a stroll along the Promenade north and south of JFK Boulevard. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., you'll find an incredible Seaside Vendors Market filled with crafts, fashion apparel, artwork, and more. It’s a perfect spot to pick up unique finds and gifts.
Skimmer Food Court
Feeling hungry? The Skimmer Food Court on JFK Boulevard has got you covered with a variety of tempting food and drinks. Whether you’re craving sweet treats or savory snacks, there’s something for everyone.
Family Fun at Excursion Park (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Bring the whole family Skimmer Weekend to Excursion Park for FREE amusement rides from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. But that’s not all! From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy additional free activities including face painters, a photo booth, an art bar, balloon artists, and live music. It’s a day packed with joy and laughter for kids and adults alike.
Sunday, June 16: Father’s Day Classics
Skimmer Weekend Antique Auto Show (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
Calling all car enthusiasts! On Sunday, the Skimmer Antique Auto Show will display scores of classic vehicles on the Promenade north of JFK Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s a perfect Father’s Day outing to admire vintage cars and trucks.

Live Music by The Snake Brothers Band
Enjoy the tunes of The Snake Brothers Band under the Gazebo on the Promenade at JFK Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. It’s a great way to relax and soak in the festive atmosphere.
Awards and Parade
Mayor Leonard Desiderio will honor the winners of the Antique Auto Show at 1 p.m. in front of the Gazebo. Then, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the vintage cars and trucks will hit the road for an Antique Auto Parade. The parade starts at 44th Street, travels south on Pleasure Avenue to 93rd Street, and then heads north on Landis Avenue back to JFK Boulevard. Don’t miss this nostalgic procession!
A Festival with History
Did you know? Skimmer Festival gets its name from the straw hats Victorian gentlemen wore during the summer. The festival began after the Ash Wednesday Storm of 1962 to show that Sea Isle City was open for business. It's been a beloved tradition ever since!
